Have you excercised today?

I woke up today ready to do my exercises and I make sure that whether I wanted to or not it must be done in order for my life to contain Lifestyle Living.

This is a term I use with my business T.O.U.C.H. 52:11 Inc. Lifestyle Living means that for the remainder of your life one must change everything in their environemnt to be sure they have healthy living.

It may be harder some days more than others to get prepared to move forward, but the key is to just start. Set goals but remember the goals must start small before your larger goals can be met. NO matter what your untilmate goal is know you can do it but you first MUST BEGIN!!!!

  1. I have officially begun. I have recorded my measurements & weight (ugh) and got back on track with my morning workouts.Started my journaling again and I'm using this week to detox from sugar, excess salt & processed foods. I have vowed that water will become my best friend. Just going to try & stay focused. Determined that this is going to be my year to shed the excess 'baggage'!

  2. Anitra thats wonderful. Journaling is a great way to keep up with your program as well as keep yourslef accountable. Don't weigh yourslef or take any more measurements for another 30 days so that you won't be overwhelmed and obessed with the numbers.

There are so many water trys Fuiji, flavored water or even let the bottle sit in room temperature sometimes it is easier to drink that way.

Keep me informed with how you are doing and know You Can Do It!!!!

  3. Thanks for the encouragement Sandra. One of the things I've learned through therapy is that I'm lacking in the support I need to get through this journey, so I was encouraged by my counselor to really seek out some support. Your blog is going to be a lifeline for me, lol. I had planned to weigh myself once a week, especially this first week, just to see how I did. Is that not a good idea? Either way, I will keep you informed of my progress!

  4. Anitra I would suggest that you weigh yourslf only once a month. Allow yourself to develop a program that consist of Lifestyle Living and not just about loosing weight. Thus, on that date once a month weigh yourself write down where you are in a journal so that you can make yourself accountable.

Also, take front, side and back pictures of yourslef with a sports bra on and fitted work out pants. Reatke the pictures of yourself every 60 days. In doing this you will appreciate the inches you have lost and it will keep you encouraged.

I have a radio program on Blog Talk radio weekly Tues at 8PM. I speak on obesity and how to stay encouraged and motivated (you can download any show I have done for free). Also, check out my website www.touch5211inc.org and read about my Lifestyle Living contest and considering entering.

I'm so glad your enjoying the blog!! Keep me updated.
